Located in southwestern Minnesota(Land of over 10,000 lakes). Lake Shetek, in the last five years, has been rated in the top ten walleye lakes by the MN. Dept. of Natural Resources with over 5000 acres of surface water contained in Lake Shetek and adjoining lakes.

Historical interests nearby include:
• Walnut Grove, MN.-- LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRARIE--is within 20 miles.
• At Pipestone, MN. there is the Pipestone Monument and is where the indian peace pipes are made--35 miles away.
• Currie, MN--has The End of the Line Park with a antique rail engine turntable and buildings from the turn of the last century--10 miles away.
• On Lake Shetek are the Lutheran Bible Camp, Baptist Bible Camp, Boy Scout Camp and the Lake Shetek State Park which offers boat & canoe rentals, another swimming beach, summer naturalist program, bird watching, abundant wildlife(particularly white tial deer) and numerous historic sites relevant to the Dakota Indian conflict of 1862, 2 marinaswith rentals available, excellent hunting in the area during respective seasons with hundreds of acres of public land nearby for ducks, geese, pheasants and deer.

Description of Accommodations
ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDE: Townhouse(seperate from owners) two comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with 4'x6' Jacuzzi and one with a shower, fireplace, satellite TV, VCR, seperate kitchen for your use, bike storage, air conditioning, fax, and a on-line computer terminal. Kids are always welcome and your dog with prior approval.

Description of Rooms/Suites
When you arrive and walk in the front door, you are viewing the dining and living area that overlook the lake from
two very large bay windows. Across the living room is a full-wall fireplace. As you step to the stairway and continue upstairs to the right you enter the--Family suite, consisting of a King size bed(or two extra long twin beds), two reading chairs situated for natural light, TV, desk, dresser and vanity with sink and mirrors. Included and
adjacent is a smaller room with two twin beds. Top of the stairs right is the Queen room, with a queen size bed, dresser, TV, roll top desk and a recliner reading chair. Both bedrooms connect to the 4'x6' Jacuzzi bathroom.

WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE:
The famous Valhalla Steak House, featuring the finest food, largest portions and the lowest prices you will find anywhere. Across the parking lot is the Key Largo Bar, Resturant(serving noon lunches) and Ballroom. Key Largo is one of the top night spots in southern Minnesota. Additional rooms are available at Lake Shetek Lodge.
